Over the past month, dedicated members of the North East Fire Department have covered every corner of North East Borough and Township—north, south, east, and west—collecting donations for the 78th Annual North East Firemen’s Cherry Festival.
We know it’s a lot of ground to cover, and we may have missed a few homes or caught you when you weren’t available. If that’s the case—no worries! There’s still time to support your local fire department.

As we prep for Cherry Festival, our members will be at the firehouse washing and waxing the fire engines for the parade. It’s the perfect time to swing by, drop off your donation, and get involved in the excitement.

The North East Firemen’s Cherry Festival is the largest fundraiser of the year for both Fuller Hose Co. #1 and Crescent Hose Co. #2. All proceeds help cover essential costs like insurance and equipment to ensure we can continue providing fire, rescue, and EMS services to North East Borough and Township.
