Firefighter:
Respond to emergency incidents, fight fires, mitigate hazardous material incidents, rescue trapped persons in vehicle accidents, and administer basic life support (BLS) treatment.
Emergency Medical Responder / Emergency Medical Technician
Personnel trained in rendering immediate, life-saving care in emergency situations, including basic airway interventions, bleeding control and cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
Fire Police / Traffic Control:
Control traffic at emergency incidents, assist PSP and other Law Enforcement agencies with crowd control and keep other fire fighters safe during emergencies.
Water Rescue / SCUBA Team:
Respond to water-based emergencies on Lake Erie and Inland waterways, Assist the USCG, PA Fish and Boat Commission and Department of Homeland Securities with water based events such as Tall Ships America.
